About us
CRISCAR Editions is an independent board game publisher based in Madrid, born from a passion for creating and sharing experiences around this hobby.
Introduction
At CRISCAR, we intend to develop and publish our own games, paying close attention to every detail to offer innovative and long-lasting experiences, that is, games that won’t get burned after just a few plays. To achieve this, our design priorities are essentially twofold: high depth —without complex rules— and high replayability.
Our upcoming titles are quite varied in terms of mechanics and themes. Some, like KIRE, are geared towards a general audience, while others will be aimed at more hardcore gamers. However, we generally favor the “classic” style: games that are quick to set up and don’t require excessive components.
Game Labs
We’ll be gradually adding new titles to our catalog. However, since our development and testing capacity is limited, we’re organizing a Discord channel to manage workgroups and playtesting, which we’ll primarily conduct using Tabletopia and Tabletop Simulator.
Please contact us if you’re interested in collaborating on testing any of our projects. The idea, of course, is to compensate members of these Game Labs with gifts, special editions at reduced prices, honorable mentions, or even reciprocal collaborations on their projects. Therefore, access will be limited and subject to a certain commitment.
Communities and Social Networks
Initially, we’ll only be using three social media channels: Instagram for promoting events and news, YouTube for tutorials, demos, etc., and, most importantly, Discord for online meetings and playtesting, as we’ve already mentioned.
