KIRE

Inspired by the classic card game mus, KIRE takes it a step further, providing a context, great aesthetics, and, above all, more elaborate mechanics in every aspect.

The game plays as follows: in each round, players bid for control of four locations to earn points. In the event of a tied bet the best hand of cards wins, but a different criterion is used for each location: in the castle, the cards with the higher value; in the village, the ones with the lowest while, in the market, best combinations win (pairs, two pairs, etc.); finally, in the camp, the “strength” of the cards is compared instead of their value.

The player who manages to achieve two “revolts” wins the game. Each revolt essentially consists on reaching 20 or more points.

The big difference of KIRE compared to other similar games (like poker or mus) lies in the fact that, by using its own specific deck, all cards can be valuable depending on the circumstances and there are much more interesting hand combinations, so throughout the game the element of luck is considerably reduced.

Also it works perfectly with any number of players from 2 to 5.
